Wood Dice Tower for Dungeons and Dragons, Warhammer 40K, Pathfinder. Handcarved

$85.00

This listing is for a totally unique and one of a kind dice tower. MADE TO ORDER. Your dice tower will be made and ready to ship out within 1-2 weeks so you can use it right away for tabletop gaming. Our dice towers are SOLID and easy to use. They measure approximately 6-7 inches tall and 3-4 inches in diameter. This listing is for the rich, warm, and deeply colored gray brown WALNUT WOOD.

Walnut has an amazingly beautiful grain and a deep rich color. This is probably my favorite wood choice as it has so much personality. My dice towers can be used for Dungeons and Dragons, Warhammer 40K, Pathfinder, Magic the Gathering, or any other TTRPG gaming. These dice towers are crafted to last a lifetime and beyond. This is something you can pass onto your children when your adventuring days are up. I'm always happy to answer any questions about wood quality and care :D

I will take a piece of walnut wood and find a section that speaks to me (interesting grain and color) - then using a lathe at high velocity and sharp tools, hollow out the inside and shape the outside to fit the unique qualities of that piece of wood. Wood can be difficult to work with in this way, and it takes a lot of skill and natural talent. Using a lathe is a very old and traditional method of woodworking dating back to ancient times. I love being a part of history!

If you have a preference in what kind of detail is on the outside, please let me know! Every dice tower is unique and different in appearance. I try to keep them roughly the same size, but details vary. Please let me know what you would like! I think the idea of having a ONE of a KIND item is very appealing.

Please sign up for special offers and alerts when new products are released! We are working on a line of real STONE dice as well as real METAL dice!

Frequently Asked Questions

Wood Care

Our wooden items come finished with our special blend of finishing wax and ready for use and require minimum care to last a lifetime and beyond. If you accidentally leave your item in the sun or it gets wet, a little lemon juice mixed with olive oil and rubbed into the wood will shine it right back up again!

How balanced are your dice? Can they truly be balanced with items inside?

Dice made from resin are the most balanced (besides precision made metal). Most of our collection is made from resin, those made from acrylic may have slight imbalances but shouldn't be noticeable during use. Dice sets such as our skull dice are actually pretty darn balanced! The items inside such as skulls and shells are actually filled with resin in order to maintain a specific density and weight distribution. Our manufacturer performs balance checks and we also perform checks randomly to ensure that each type of dice meets our expectations for random rolls...however since each dice piece is unique there will be some variation.

Where do your dice come from? Do you make them yourself?

While we make all our wooden products by hand, in order to provide quality dice at an affordable price we get dice from several dice manufacturers. We handpick the dice we feel are the most high quality and interesting, then create a unique and interesting backstory and qualities for each. We have a lot of fun creating something new with each set and put a lot of effort into it! It's very important to us that each item we offer be fully in the spirit of the role playing games they are for. We also design many of the sets we sell which make them exclusive to our shop.

What are the facilities like where your dice are made?

We work with small teams of people to make our own designs. Our main producer has less than 50 employees. Our dice are produced in batches, not mass produced. The majority of the work is done by hand but machines may be used to make parts of the production go faster. An example of this would be a barrel polisher-which is just a big drum that moves unfinished dice pieces around inside in a way that sands them down to a smooth finish.

We also hand make dice in house, in very small quantities. Most of what we make by hand are custom commissions where people come up with their own design and we try to make that a reality. Our business is made up of me, my husband, & my sister. We do all the packing, shipping, woodworking, and computer work.

I've seen similar dice for sale by other shops, are they stealing your designs?

Many dice shops purchase dice & other gaming supplies from the same dice making companies. While we work towards filing our shop with our own exclusive designs, and hand made dice in house, we must currently buy small batches of dice in order to offer a selection we feel is appropriate. We are the one's who come up with the name, pictures, backstory, packaging, and theme for each dice set despite not physically making it. In this way we can fit the dice sets to our unique brand and vision.

Our kickstarter dice and exclusive designs are designed by us and made by a small dice production company. Handmade dice are designated as such and made by us in our shop.
