Wood dice tray for Dungeons and Dragons, Warhammer TTRPg DICE set W/genuine LEATHER liner for DNd DIce SEt

This listing is for a HANDMADE solid wood carved dice tray. Perfect for any tabletop role playing game. Great for newbies or long time players of Dungeons and Dragons, Warhammer 40k, Cthulhu, Pathfinder, Magic the Gathering, or any other rpg.

Measures about 6 inches long and 6.5 inches wide. Slightly under 2 inches high--a great size when trying to manage table space. This tray perfectly fits a full set of 7 polyhedral dice in wait with a perfectly proportioned rolling area. The trough where the dice are lined up is raised above the rolling area for easy and quick grabbing. Sturdy yet lightweight for easy travel. This tray is so functional, I’ve tried to think of every detail.

These trays are not cut out with lasers, nailed, pieced, or glued together like 100% of the other trays I've seen on etsy and anywhere else. Each of my trays is painstakingly carved from one SOLID hunk of beautiful wood to last longer than a lifetime. This is something you can pass down to your children. Sturdy and rugged, yet buttery smooth to the touch with a matte finish. I use time honored woodworking techniques to create my unique items. Many an elf has cried over the beautiful workmanship ;)

I use only natural finishes on my products. No staining or dyes which can detract from the wood’s natural luster. Beeswax, my own blend of oils, and elbow grease are the only finishes we use. Since I use high quality hardwoods nothing else is needed or desired. The beautiful rich grain of the wood is allowed to shine through.

This particular listing is for Made to order WALNUT trays. Walnut wood has a deep rich grain and color that will surprise you with how modern yet historic it looks. This wood has a lot of personality, and each tray will be slightly unique in pattern and color, but all will display the same richness, beautiful grain, and warmth.

Can be left natural or you may choose a hand-cut genuine leather liner. The liner is smooth and sleek on one side with the traditional natural moccasin type leather feel on the other. Both sides are jet black. The liner is COMPLETELY reversible!! The choice is left up to you on which type of feel you would like your dice to experience. Some days you may like smooth and sleek to match your smooth talking rogue, other sets you might want a more rugged feel for your ranger. We will be adding more colors to our lining line-up very soon.

Frequently Asked Questions

Wood Care

Our wooden items come finished with our special blend of finishing wax and ready for use and require minimum care to last a lifetime and beyond. If you accidentally leave your item in the sun or it gets wet, a little lemon juice mixed with olive oil and rubbed into the wood will shine it right back up again!

How balanced are your dice? Can they truly be balanced with items inside?

Dice made from resin are the most balanced (besides precision made metal). Most of our collection is made from resin, those made from acrylic may have slight imbalances but shouldn't be noticeable during use. Dice sets such as our skull dice are actually pretty darn balanced! The items inside such as skulls and shells are actually filled with resin in order to maintain a specific density and weight distribution. Our manufacturer performs balance checks and we also perform checks randomly to ensure that each type of dice meets our expectations for random rolls...however since each dice piece is unique there will be some variation.

Where do your dice come from? Do you make them yourself?

While we make all our wooden products by hand, in order to provide quality dice at an affordable price we get dice from several dice manufacturers. We handpick the dice we feel are the most high quality and interesting, then create a unique and interesting backstory and qualities for each. We have a lot of fun creating something new with each set and put a lot of effort into it! It's very important to us that each item we offer be fully in the spirit of the role playing games they are for. We also design many of the sets we sell which make them exclusive to our shop.

What are the facilities like where your dice are made?

We work with small teams of people to make our own designs. Our main producer has less than 50 employees. Our dice are produced in batches, not mass produced. The majority of the work is done by hand but machines may be used to make parts of the production go faster. An example of this would be a barrel polisher-which is just a big drum that moves unfinished dice pieces around inside in a way that sands them down to a smooth finish.

We also hand make dice in house, in very small quantities. Most of what we make by hand are custom commissions where people come up with their own design and we try to make that a reality. Our business is made up of me, my husband, & my sister. We do all the packing, shipping, woodworking, and computer work

I've seen similar dice for sale by other shops, are they stealing your designs?

Many dice shops purchase dice & other gaming supplies from the same dice making companies. While we work towards filing our shop with our own exclusive designs, and hand made dice in house, we must currently buy small batches of dice in order to offer a selection we feel is appropriate. We are the one's who come up with the name, pictures, backstory, packaging, and theme for each dice set despite not physically making it. In this way we can fit the dice sets to our unique brand and vision.

Our kickstarter dice and exclusive designs are designed by us and made by a small dice production company. Handmade dice are designated as such and made by us in our shop.
